He made a mistake in leaving a bandaid contact lens in my eye after cataract surgery. It was supposed to be removed the next day. I was never informed that it was put in my eye. I sent photos of a severely irritated eye, but was erroneously told it was dry eye and to use eye drops. After 2 years I finally got a return call from him. He never apologized. When Manhattan Eye & Ear removed the contact lens, they informed me that this was serious and could have not only lead to permanent loss of vision, but also loss of my eye.
Wow , when I did my rating today of Dr. Vinokur ( an absolute 5), I can’t believe that someone gave him a 1 star review . Must be some disgruntled person because that doctor is absolutely above and beyond in the care of his patients.
Most knowledgeable doctor in orthopedic . Not only does surgery he also teaches you how to live and stay healthy after surgery. If you looking for a great orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rohit Verma is the guy.
Dr. Picon was patient, communicative and compassionate.
She needs to be removed from health care she was beyond rude and belittling while caring for my sister yesterday . Made her have a panic attack during a sensitive procedure and proceeded to say “ it’s not my fault your the one who made the appointment “
I had a very frustrating experience with Dr. Scuderi. He ordered an MRI on my sprained knee. Ater MRI, he briefly called to inform me that I had an ACL tear—but he didn’t mention the severity. Later it turned out to be a complete tear, something clearly visible in the MRI images.During the call, he simply read the MRI report, which described a 'high-grade ACL sprain,' and advised me to do PT for a month or two. I would like to think that Dr Nurzia is a fine clinician, however he lacks people skills. He does not return calls as he 'can not bill for that time, and it would be a waste of his time'. ( direct quote). My anxiety about his refusing to monitor an issue led to his saying, 'I understand you are anxious, but I am not your psychiatrist'. I would never recommend him to anyone who asks me.
He was incredibly dismissive. Did not listen I had to tell his several times what my problem was and once I told him about a different issue I had to go over again what my problem was. They had me fill out a questionnaire before I went he which was a waste of my time because he obviously did not ready it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Shout out to Dr. Huh! She has never failed to return a call herself. She thoroughly explains things and makes sure you understand them.Even though her regular appointments are months out she will always make an exception for an emergency. She's everything a doctor should be!
