This was my first time seeing Dr. Gullingsrud at Minnesota Eye Consultants, and I was really pleased with the experience. He had already reviewed my records from my Ophthalmologist, so he was up to speed and took an interest in my overall eye health. He was very reassuring when it came to the glaucoma testing and let me know I’m not quite ready for cataract surgery yet, which was a relief. His staff was friendly and professional, and I was in and out much faster than I expected. I felt like I was in good hands!
I sought a second opinion from Dr. Gullingsrud on recent eye surgeries by another specialist. Dr. Gullingsrud and his staff performed a very complete and thorough eye exam, went over all the test results and explained the deficiencies I was experiencing, leaving me feel very confident in his with his care. I will be returning to Dr. Gullingsrud for my future eye care because he explained my eye deficiencies in understandable speak. This was my first visit. Everyone was very pleasant and through. After examining my eyes, Dr. Gullingsrud let me know it was a retinologist I needed and recommended one in the area for me and arranged for them to contact me. Very helpful.

The fact, unlike some 'eye specialists' he and his staff took the time to do a proper examination. Afterwards then took the time to explain everything and discuss options.
Minnesota Eye institute is by far the best source to treat any eye issues. From initial consult through surgeries and post op follow-ups, each visit you leave knowing they have your eye health as their top priority. Highly recommend.
