The most compassionate doctor I have ever had. I am a ER nurse at Christ Hospital and my sister is an ICU nurse in Bloomington, Il. My mother was found to have a large abdominal aortic aneurysm and a cardiologist in Bloomington recommended that we see Dr. Tanquilut. I recommended that we see one of the vascular surgeons that I knew at Christ hospital. We met Dr. Tanquilut and ultimately had my mom's surgery done by him. He truly is gifted. I thank God for Dr. Tanquilut
Dr. Tanquilut is perfect, the office is the issue and not sure if he or his colleague are aware of it. But if they don't get control of the office and its issues they are going to loose a lot of patients. I know this just from what I hear waiting in the office wait area.
Dr. Tanquilut was very professional, understanding, thrall & has a wonderful bedside ora. Will recommend this doctor to anyone needing a good doctor.
I was extremely nervous about going to a vascular surgeon, especially after being told by my cardiologist that I was going to lose my legs if I did not have the blockage my legs opened up. However, upon entering the room, Dr. Tanquilut made me feel at ease. The best part was when he said that I was fine and that what I was told was not true and that the only treatment I needed at this time was to walk.
