Terrible communication. Uncaring. Unskilled.
DR Murphy saved my life twice. Once when he removed my gall bladder during an event which resulted in indecision on the part of several attending physicians. The second recently in.repairing an aortic aneurism. He is competent, skilled and easy to deal with.
bad - he was angry when he walked into the exam room, became confrontational and argumentative, acted like he had a bone to pick with me even though I'd never seen the man before. might be a great surgeon, but has NO people skills or common manners, needs to address his anger issues. I do not need a doctor whose main function in life appears to be butting heads with every one he meets
Dr. Murphy is the only doctor I trust to care for my vascular problems. He saved my father's life back in 2000 and has cared for my husband and me. On my referral to 2 friends he did vascular surgery for a friend's leg blood clot and a woman's ostomy reversal which was long overdue by her original surgeon. Great personality, compassion and explains everything in lay terms. Love him!!!
Dr. Murphy is a miracle worker! He saved my life when most wouldn't have been able. He and his staff are truly exceptional! Each morning I awaken I thank God and Doctor Murphy and his team for every hour I have with my family, since 2003!
extremely curt, either have surgery or dont. those were his exact words zero recommendations for treatment if we chose NOT to have surgery. ive had 30 plus surgeries and i have never had a surgical consultation that lasted only 5 minutes. also waited 30 minutes past scheduled appointment time
On December 13, 2017 I was schedule to have Thyroidectomy surgery. Everything seemed to be going as planned until I woke up in I.C.U. my hands restrained to my bed with tubes in my mouth and neck. I absolutely love Dr. Murphy. I had to have a growth removed from my back. He took the time to let me know how this would be done and the different options for the surgery. During the actual surgery, I was awake and he talked to me and let me know what he was doing and made polite conversation so I wouldn't be so nervous. I wish he could be my primary doctor because I loved him so much. I would recommend him for anyone that needed a surgeon.
