Not bad place but isn't a great place either
NOT IMPRESSED/SAFETY CONCERNS: I live in HTX but am from Indy. My brother was accepted by this facility and I agreed, sounded amazing on paper - ON PAPER. I am his legal guardian, so I approved him to be transported by ambulance to this facility. He left Muncie around 8, and it’s about an hour drive. Staff called me around 11p (EDT) to let me know he is there, and I have 24hrs to complete paperwork—cool, no problem. Had a friend here who was mistreated and not taken seriously while recovering. Staff was good from what I’ve heard, they just don’t allow enough smoke breaks and i had a hard time dropping off donations to this place, had some books ready to go but couldn’t afford cigs to donate.
Helpful staff. Food was good. As far as going to detox goes, this was probably the best place I could’ve gone.
