How does this man deal with mental patients in a psychiatric ward? Honestly, he is the most arrogant, selfish, entitled a hole I have ever met. This goes hand in hand with Americas horrendous mental health system, but when I got admitted to the mental hospital he handles peoples LIVES in, he attempted to put me on a 30 day hold for no reason. My son was doing great on very few meds for months until Dr Etchie added two medications and now my son is not doing well. Dr Etchie told me he would fix the meds but still hasn’t. Now he is not returning my phone calls! It appears he told me what I wanted to hear and then dismissed all of my concerns. I feel helpless and worried about my son’s well being!
I’ve never met Dr. Etchie, but I can said he’s a great and wonderful psychiatrist to all my clients. I’ve heard great things from clients and parents about him.
Enjoy our talks and Nora his receptionist is always so nice. He doesn't talk down to you.
My father was under his care and it was horrendous. Prescribed medication without reason. Won’t call back to explain. Worst care I’ve ever experienced.

I met Dr. Etchie in an appointment with my friend that is bipolar. Dr. Etchie is not concerned with treating people. He runs a cash only operation. I have written letters begging him to help my friend and explaining I am the only person my friend has to advocate their health and well-being. This doctor does not care. 5 minutes is not caring for a person who is mentally challenged. My friend is not getting better, only worse. I would do recommend this doctor to anyone.
I find Dr. Etchie to be very congenial and helpful. He explains medication and their side effects very well. I would certainly recommend him. Staff is sweet.
I have been seeing Dr Etchie for years and have never had a problem with him at all. He took Carlos of me from the hospital to his office. It took us some time in the beginning to get my meds right, but I feel great right now. He is a busy man, but I feel better so that is what is important to me. He can't help you if you can't help yourself. Positive happy thoughts is what got me through my darkest memories. P.S. My daughter goes to him and she is feeling better also.
