I just want to thank the Chef at the Westin for preparing a wonderful meal to take to my room. I’m from the South and I know Cornbread, Catfish, and Gumbo. Catfish was excellent, and the Gumbo was actually scooped out from the bottom of the pot for my “to go” order. Too much to eat, although I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would recommend this restaurant to the locals in the Jackson area.

I took a business partner to dinner at Estelle Southern Table tonight and it did not disappoint! Everything from our drinks and appetizers to our entrees was delicious! The jalapeno cornbread was flavorful, moist with just the right kick. The pimento crab dip was very rich with plenty of crab in it. I will never dine here again. I have been before and had similar feelings, but I gave it another chance. I had overpriced and actually chewy pancakes for brunch, and one of the weakest and most suboptimal Bloody Marys I’ve ever been served. Eggs Benedict, pancakes and 2 Bloody Mary cocktails (weak) for almost $80 before tip. A huge disappointment.
