I strongly advise against this service. In my view, their communication skills are poor, they engage in fraudulent billing practices, and their management is lacking. I regret not recognizing the warning signs earlier. One instance of bad communication was when the RN baselessly suggested that I was being racist. This behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They have, in fact, engaged in fraudulent billing practices, as I have reported a total of 21 VA fraudulent claims. Essential has been a blessing to my dad. They take good care of him, join in his hobbies and they provide companionship. They are great communicators and are always available to talk too. One of his caregivers even met him at the fishing hole and fished with him!
I have been with essential for over a year . The aide I have shows up on time . The aide does what needs to be done . We get along great. If I have concerns I can contact the office and they will take care of any problems promptly.
