Our family has been seen by Dr. Trixie for years. We highly recommend Essential Family Vision. The staff and Doctors are the best in the area. They have a huge selection of frames and the service is incredible! Why drive into Madison when the best is right here in DeForest!

Not to be a Karen but... I showed up 5 minutes late to my appointment because of a wrong turn and they very rudely refused my appointment because I was late and now can’t get me in before I leave for college so now I have no glasses for school. I understand this is a difficult time but the inflexibility and lack of understanding is no way to run a business and instead of trying to come up with a solution they bashed me for being late and now I’m screwed. Terrible customer service!!!!! I have been waiting for 6 months for them to fix my claim. When I would finally get to talk to someone "never the same person" they would say we are working on it! Or I'll call you back at the end of the week and get this taken care of. Well let's just say after all of that the office made a mistake with the insurance and its my fault!! Best part is not one I'm sorry this happened!! I'm so disappointed with the service now. I use to love going to the office.

I know the customer is not always right, but we do deserve the respect as if we were! We do not need condescending, disrespectful rude employees trying to make us feel like we are bothering them. My appointment was June 25 my glasses will supposedly be here July 16. I am rather certain that every calendar in the world will show that to be 15 business days. Went there annually for 2 years . 1st experience was OK , second (in October) will be the last , as I canceled all future appointments and will go somewhere else . Receptionist was snarky and unwelcoming . Rest of the staff, aside from the actual Dr , clearly did not want to be there . On top of it , they billed me for 2 pairs of glasses (only got 1) . AND ... The bill was incorrectly submitted to insurance so I’m still receiving a bill 6 months later yet I should have a 0 balance . I called in February and was told it was t... read more

Doctors are great but the rest of the staff not so much. Had a horrible experience and was just treated like we were inconveniencing then. So after 2.5 hours we wasted our insurance trip, time and have no prescriptions or glasses. Would NEVER recommend to anyone!!
