Drs Rocha, Wolbrink, PA Caldwell, don't tell you whats going on, give you dangerous medication for benign arrhythmia and some of nursing staff really sucks. Sent complaint to nursing board about abusive nurse never heard back. Changed care to St Luke's, smart move.

I am so incredibly disappointed with Essentia Health and how they handle their patients inquiries. I had a dispute with a diagnosis I received that they 'investigated' - and all I received was a letter that basically said they found that my care was appropriate, even though their OWN specialist that I was sent to disagreed. My biggest issue though was how they handled my inquiry. After receiving the letter I called and emailed to receive clarification on what research they did or to see if they contacted the specialist who t... read more

Trying to communicate with anyone was a nightmare. I had to repeat my phone number on several occasions to many people, not sure why it wasnt put into the system from the start. Call backs never happened and when I tried to contact them it took forever and then I would be transferred from one department to the next. I would give a one star for communication! Whoever is in charge with the front end of this business needs to step up their game. On the other hand I would give the actual nurses, surgeons, and Dr a 5 star. They ... read more

I have always gone to Essentia (St. Mary's/Duluth Clinic) and I have watched it change over many years. They seem more worried about the money than the actual health of patients. Very difficult to contact an actual person when calling. Twice now in this last year I have been billed FOUR CoPays for one doctor appointment! REALLY???? My CoPays add up to more than the actual doctor bill. They refuse to resubmit new codes to insurance company saying this is how it's billed. I have never heard of paying FOUR CoPays when going in ... read more

Did a sleep study through the London rd location. I understand that they are not at full capacity with COVID 19 now but I’ve called at least 6 times for my results and every time I call the nurse is not available and she has to call me back. I have a job also that I need to do so I have missed calls from them as well. Hard to believe that I call that many times and there isn’t someone available to give me the results. I ran into the same problem setting up the sleep study so I have now become frustrated with the situation. ... read more

My husband, Gary, was recently discharged 4-26-2019, from St.Marys Hospital, 6th floor cardiac care, east side. (there were 2 other beds in his room) He had a heart attack & a stent was placed. The staff was great. However, I had to sit up in a chair beside his bed thru out the stay as there was not enuf places to lie down & rest. I had no sleep for 3 days. There used to b rollaway recliners that we’re brought in the patients rooms for a family member to use, what happened to these? Our room wasn’t cleaned and the trash wasn... read more
