My family and I were visiting from out of state when my baby got sick. We had the absolute best ER experience at this hospital. We were able to immediately receive care, and every employee we met with was incredibly kind and competent.
As a patient, I would not visit this place again. I was having some intense foot pain and was told by the doctor that the X-ray was normal and my pain was from a small plantars wart. After continuing to have foot pain and issues with walking, I had a different clinic find in their imaging that I had a shattered bone in my foot which required surgery. Had an upper endoscopy done. Definitely will not be going back for this procedure again. Dr Sax retired and had to use a new Dr. Never again will I be back here for this procedure here.
My partner, Diane, recently underwent surgery to remove and replace her port, performed by Dr. Duinick. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Dr. Duinick’s skill, compassion, and calm bedside manner gave us complete confidence and comfort throughout the process. If you have a genuine medical emergency go to this ER but if you have the option to go ANYWHERE else take it. The UC in the Baxter location is a good place to go from my experience but if you do go here take a family member, friend, or someone who can advocate for you because the lack of care here is not normal.
