My Dad was here and the staff couldn't properly treat him and didn't really care about his medical treatment nor diagnosis.
The nurse in the ER… Amanda I believe… wont let me or any of my partner’s family talking to him and she says she will go charge his phone… the heck? Awful. Second time dealing with this inconsiderate place. No one has been able to get ahold of him… but she’s annoyed he keeps getting calls…
Wonderful nurses and a wonderful delivery doctor! But the kitchen…. It is thanksgiving, my wife hadn’t eaten in god knows how long. Asked for a Chicken and Waffle sandwich. Received 2 of the hardest chicken strips I have ever seen and a PANCAKE!!! None of it was edible! My wife started balling!! Not even the Turkey Thanksgiving dinner could fix it. They don’t take anything seriously, terrible staff. My Grandma got transferred to Duluth after her kidneys basically shut down. We had to beg and beg them repeatedly to even try and get them to do something about it. When she arrived at Duluth she looked way worse. All I have to say is that brainerd is terrible and if you need something at all I wouldn’t even go there. The quality of care and professionalism I received from St Joseph's was second to none. Excellent in every level of surgery care and obgyn recovery. Thank you. Keep up the good work. I traveled four hours in hopes of good care....it was the best decision I ever made for my health.
