Was absolutely shocked by how much the miller-Dawn facility has deteriorated. My wife came in for a routine surgery which required an over night stay. The medical staff were very professional and supportive however the facilities are run down many things not working or placed out service. The carpeting was very worn and soiled. Bath room broken and patient room just needs renovation even the electrical in the patient room like the gfi can blowing out trying to plug an apple phone charger in. Don't have a conversation with Dr scanlon because she whines like a little kid and sticks her boss on you that will talk to you like you're a criminal unprofessional people work in the intermediate pain clinic

My husband was the patient at the Intermediate Pain Clinic in the Miller-Dwan building, and I had signed a permission form to speak on his behalf. He handled everything up until the supervisor got involved, but when I tried to speak with the staff myself, they still refused to communicate with me — even though permission was clearly given. Dr. Scanlon came across as unprofessional, and instead of working through concerns, she brought in her supervisor, who spoke to us in a way that felt accusatory and disrespectful.
