Essencia's coffee, breads, treats and lunches are excellent! Whenever I run into people visiting Yakima that would like a nice place to get lunch or a snack I always send them to Essencia and it quickly becomes their go-to spot whenever they return. There's a reason why all the traveling artists performing at the Capitol Theatre find their way to Essencia's door - even well-traveled people know that there's good stuff inside!
Wish they had more of a spot to come in and do some work from time to time. Do love the food and the people who run it are awesome!
Essencia's bread pudding with hints of all their lovely loaves is a cozy, lightly sweet miracle.
