Not what you would expect to find in Yakima. Excellent food. Rosemary Olive Oil Cake was lovely. The curried soup was superb, too.
We visit Yakima once a year to stock up on fruit and wine and always spend a morning at this local gem and bring home several treats as well.
Essencia is a wonderful place for lunch, snacks, tea. Miguel and Jasmine and Maki are the best - super friendly and helpful. Essencia always has special treats for holidays, such as darling tiny teddy bear cookies with arms wrapped around an almond for Valentine's Day, and adorable lamb cookies for Easter. I love this place.
