The up stairs bar and restaurant is well managed, lively and service was fast and professional. Food was excellent, well prepared and delicious. The staff was attentive, more then predictive as they anticipated my wants. Giving me a receptive atmosphere that would make me a regular. The downstairs (Speak Easy) was everything I would hope for. A subdued, easy going space that allows a person to drink and eat as if you’re a character in a Marlowe story.

this was dads old hang out , he was always in New York n this place was the next best thing for him here in SA. Brought my hubby here today ,, first time .. Me ? I grew up here .. Great place ,, everything .. Coming soon .
Love the heirloom tomato salad with watermelon, feta and cucumber vinaigrette. Refreshing after a hot day on the Riverwalk!
First time ever to The Esquire for Friday fun. Will be back to dine downstairs!
