Downstairs super cool. Nice place to hang out with the girls and sip a well crafted drink. Attentive, well informed staff. I'd definitely return!
Top notch joint in every way. Great drinks, food, and staff!
Only had drinks & an appetizer we technically ordered late. (It was almost 10:00 on a Wednesday night) Waiter James was friendly. When a girl in our group returned a drink he took care of it graciously. We were there in the middle of the week for a convention and did a mini bar crawl. Everyone in our group agreed The Esquire was our best stop. Drinks were top notch; I had a "Waking The Dead 2" which was tasty. Will definitely be back.

New to San Antonio. Love this place reminds me of some cool dark place you would have seen in 40's detective movie. Drinks are top notch. The menu is fresh and inventive. Eclectically great!
Excellent service, drinks and food, Booth lighting was a little dim making it hard to read the menu. This is now my go to place for food while downtown San Antonio.
