The bartenders were very unfriendly and stoned faced we were sitting at the bar and they pretty much ignored us till I had to practically shout out if I could please have a gin and tonic! We were with a group of 6 ... all over 50, educated native San Antonians. What a disappointment since this is one of our cool downtown landmarks. We went downstairs to check out the bar and have a drink & greeted by a SUPER rude nazi hostess. While our online reservation book does not allow for patio seating to be freely reserved, we DO (when able) handcarry reservations for this area of our restaurant.
