Definition of a hole-in-the-wall place. The coffee is unmatched.
I came here for the free refills, the only place in town that had them, stayed for the atmosphere and friends I made, and now I'm leaving because the atmosphere and attitude (of the staff) has changed, and they took away free refills because people were 'stealing'.
Best coffee shop by far in Boone, North Carolina. I worked there for two years while and after graduating college and have nothing but love and mutual respect for the owners and their community. I learned a lot about coffee production because they roast their own beans in the shop. I also learned a lot about the general public mind (!) through my educational and friendly background. Just drink the coffee, chill back and eat something if it’s not too energetic. You will love the atmosphere.
