Some of the best food in the greater East Bay, for sure! The salmon salad (as a lunch special) is fresh with seasonal veggies and fruit. Unbelievable!! Upsidedown cake for dessert, FTW!
Sit out on the patio and enjoy a long leisurely lunch, finish with the lemon tart or the bread pudding.
Save room for dessert. Bread pudding with some gelato on top is amazing.
Go on Sunday and get the prime rib. But arrive early, I got one of the last pieces at 7.

Get reservations. They fill up fast. Awesome Service and save room for desserts.
The only contender to The Peasant is this fine establishment, also in Danville. I have yet to have a bad experience here.
