I bought an escort radar detector from here. Within three months it stopped working and I sent it back. They claimed battery acid was at fault and it likely happened due to me leaving the radar detector in my car window. They wanted another $150 to repair it and claimed this was not warren-teed. Escort clearly does not stand behind its products and I am very disappointed.

I've purchased the 9500 ix back in 2012, and it is an amazing product, I've been ticket free since. I recently gave that to my girlfriend and purchased the new IX as an early Christmas present to myself. I will admit, Escort makes some fine products, but the negativity lies in their customers service department. Now I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong in a situation, however the gentlemen who took my call should of been a lot more professional in handling the situation.
