Stay Alive....Stay Away!!! – The most terrible facility I have ever been to! My father was there for 2 nights 3 days (TOO LONG!). The place is filthy, scary! There was some kind of splatter on the wall behind the bed. A rim of old, dirty filth around the toilet. The room was HOT (obviously they didn't have the air running). The smell was terrible. Poor facility – I am a healthcare provider in escondido and have repeatedly seen incompetent care of patients from this facility. I would not recommend this care center.
Do not use this "care" facility! – This past weekend my dad died unnecessarily in the "care" of these people. Due to health issues my father required supervised meal times in order to prevent choking. "Supposedly" he was being supervised during his meal, but somehow he managed to choke to death. I was told that food was removed using the heimlich maneuver but they were unable to resuscitate him, however, they did not and still will not admit to the coroner and paramedics that they had to remove food.
