History Established in 1979. Where would we be without Post-it Notes or ESPN . . .All have been around since 1979 and, for me, life just wouldn't be the same without them. I grew up around here, learning from my Dad when he least wanted me to. I grew to love this business, despite my parents best efforts to steer me in another direction. Now, quite a few years and a law degree later, this is where I want to be. Over the years, Erv & Barb's presence was a staple at the "Mug". Erv was always fond of mornings, Barb is still fon... read more

I like this little gem of a place. Everyone is greeted with a, 'welcome to Erv's Mug.' It has a tick tacky feel with tons of stuff on the walls and a lot of history you can read about on the menu. Their food was divine and this may be the best carrot cake I've ever had in my life. Most importantly I have NEVER seen a better tap beer display. You win, Erv's mug.
Very polite staff. Food was delicious (I had the steak burger with sweet potato fries) Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for!!!
First time at Ervs Mug, for a fish fry...Oh my...Awesome. .. Will definitely be back. .
While the staff were polite and courteous, this was the highlight of the meal. My family enjoyed the regular fish fry however the Perch was a complete let down. Also and probably most important was the lack of beer selections that even a rookie brew pub or a pub trying to have a fun selection would have had in stock. Did not have -Sam Adams lager, leinenkugel-Red or even New Glarus-Two Women. Also failed to have a selection of the basic Miller, Budweiser, Coors and other such mainstream mainstays for people who just like the... read more
Great brews, atmosphere and staff. Food was tasty but way more butter than we're used to. Beware of clogging arteries!
Come on in for Sunday funday with Jason !!!! Best bartender this side of the Mississippi :]
My colleague and I were driving from Chicago to Milwaukee on Thursday, and we were starving. We saw Erv's from the road, and the parking lot was full, so we decided to stop for lunch. I'm so glad that we did! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our food was delicious. The sweet potato fries were amazing -- best I've ever had. My salad and my colleague's burger were also delicious. But the best part of our lunch experience was our waitress. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but she's been working there for 30 ye... read more
A very generous fish fry. Great wait staff. A crowded restaurant on a Friday night, but we were seated immediately and had our food even quicker! Don't get me started on the selection of beer they have on tap!
Fabulous staff made us feel welcome when we walked in the door. Excellent food. The onion soup is to die for. The Prime Rib special will feed a village and is fork tender. They know their beer, their food and their customers. A gem. Don't let the road construction keep you away. It is worth the extra effort.
