Had a daughter in college in San Marcos, was referred to Ernie's Paint and Body Shop for her car repairs. Was a little hesitant at first because I live in Baytown, but went ahead an had them do the work. Was very pleased, work done pretty much on schedule, wasn't their fault waiting on air bag from FORD. They guarantee their work for lifetime you own car. Daughter has graduated now and has moved on. Would recommend them if you are in the San Marcos area

My car was in need of repair, so I asked my insurance agent, Shanna Brannen at Texas Farm Bureau who they recommended. She recommended Ernie's. I had heard great things from others as well. Their customer service and attention to detail was fantastic! They even helped me figure out a problem with my roof rack that wasn't related. I would recommend them to everyone if asked.
If you are considering Ernie's for a paint job and are particular to detail and value your time, DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THEM. As a customer, I have experienced the following: verbal and sexual harassment along with time wasted with my trips traveling to drop off and pick up my car. After a seven-month process beginning in August of 2016 of going in and out of Ernie's for a decent paint job, I have finally decided to give up and live with this final paint job.
