Show was some good eating there, I remember the first Ernie's pit BB Q I ate back in the day, they would come to Mt Vernon and cater our FFA banquet,
Even the trains would stop to get Ernie's BBQ when he was located of the tracks.
Love it !!! I go one's a week. The best bb in town�
This place has been around for at least 50 years and today my dad and I ate here and it was nothing like the Ernie's I have known for my entire life. Whatever you people have done to the food you may want to go back to the original Ernie's because in that small town too many BBQ places will put you out of business. I hope you take my input and restore it back to the greatness that it used to be. #sosadwhathappenedtoernies
