I am very disappointed with my service at the menomonee falls location. Katie in services tried to upsale me by telling me that their policy stated in order to have a repair that was under manufacture repaired, I would need to pay them for a repair that was not under manufacture. Crazy right. Now I may not be a car genius but I am far from being an idiot. I specifically asked her twice of she was sure this is the policy amd she informed me yes.. I am completely and utterly unsatisfied with my experience here. I took my car in for them to fix a check engine light and I got a call to pick up my car because it was ready yet when I picked it up the check engine light was still on!!!!!!!! So I go right back in and take my car back and they want me to pay MORE money for their mess up. I will not be returning to Ernie con schledorn ever.
This past Feb I got a new VW Passat from Ernie and it was well worth the drive down from Oshkosh. Most everyone knows who the big dealer is in the Fox Cities and when it came to the bottom line Ernie had them beat by a mile. Not only was the sales staff friendly and courteous they were never pushy during the sale process. The sales woman even went as far as going to the Milwaukee Auto show to get me an additional $500 cash show bonus. If your in the market for a new VW you'd be foolish not to at least look them up online!
NEVER go to Ernie Von Schledorn for a car. I have constantly been in there for things that they have messed up on my car, when all I wanted was a simple oil change or an alignment fix. Now, my car is in there because they were on a test drive and got into an accident. It has been in the shop for over a month and they told me that it would be done by today, but the new door that they were supposed to install was damaged in shipping and they never contacted me to tell me that, my dad had to call and see what was up with the pr... read more
