Great Food, Loud Environment My wife and I were cruising around Downtown looking for a place to grab a nice dinner when we stumbled upon Ernesto's. We both love Mexican food, so we decided to give it a shot. The food was great! None of the small portions and artistic presentation we get at some other places. Our only issue was that it was so LOUD in there we couldn't hear ourselves think. Good margaritas though definitely.
Great mexican food Great mexican food in Sacramento. We love the food there and we go there all the time. We love to sit outside when the weather is nice. It is the only mexican restrurant my husband will go to.
Beware! BEWARE! Waiter stole from us. We will never be back. Here's what happened. My wife and I went for dinner with another couple. We sat outside, it was a beautiful night. Mimo, our waiter was freindly and was always there to check up on us, our drinks were always full. Here's where the problem is. The bill was 50.00 for the four of us. My wife put in $25 cash( a 20 and a 5), the other couple used thier credit card for the remaining $25. We then left a $5 tip on the table(20%), the other couple left $6 tip on the card. Love this place and the food is great You come here hungry and leave satisfied. I love the quality of authentic mexican food and the service is outstanding. There is some indoor and outdoor seating now and it has a festive feel. It does tend to get busy on evenings and weekends but it is worth the wait. The margaritas are terrific too--don't miss out on one of those!
Ernesto's Survey We took a couple from out of town to Ernesto's on Friday Night andthe food was great. Drinks were to die for.I came home to do the Survey that was given to us and I can't find. Good food, good prices Pretty good food. Can get very crowded and busy on weekends. Atmosphere is good, and can get loud at times. Margaritas from the bar are excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Not my favorite, but decent For high end Mexican food in Sacramento, Ernesto's is good, but not great. The service is fine, but think the menu is a bit uninspired. Decent food, decent prices, crowded at high traffic times.
This Isn't Your Chevy's This classy Mexican restaurant is not your Chevy's Mexican restaurant--this place has far more class and is much more upscale. The first time we tried to eat here the line to get a table was so long that we could not wait 90 minutes for a table. The best downtown Ernesto's is one of the best Mexican restaurants down town. The food is great. They have many choices to satisfy your craving. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Get there early on the weekend nights, it gets busy.
