Dr Luciano and Sarah B. make an amazing team!
Dr. Ernesto has been my sole orthopod for 20 years. Ankles, elbows, thumbs, and shoulders...he has handled everything broken, torn, stretched, and aggravated. Never an issue and never dissatisfied.
The lack of physical examination and poor advice shook my confidence. The doctor only checked my knee for swelling. I expected him to, at least, try to locate the source of the pain. Near the end of our quick visit, he suggested I only do low-impact exercise. At first I thought, "no way" because I could barely walk. Later, I thought maybe he knew something I didn't. I rowed for 5 minutes the next day. What followed was the worst swelling and pain up to this point. It was a bad idea.
He spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and diagnosis the problem. After telling me what he thought was wrong didn't explain what it was or how it occurred and then just said this is what we going to do. Then dismissed the question I had like it wasn't valid a question.
Like all the other reviews, I felt that Dr. Luciano-Perez wasn't interested in anything I had to say and didn't appear concerned about me as a patient. I think the only reason I didn't have to wait long after my appointment time is probably because he doesn't spend any time with his patients. In the less than 5 minutes he spent with me, he told me I needed surgery for a condition that I don't think I have and that was it. He just walked out of the room. I would never let him operate on me!
This guy is a Spanish jerk. I was referred for hand, shoulder and various joint pain. He was the most sarcastic not willing to listen Dr I have ever in my 48 years, ever dealt dealt with. I would not refer ANY of my family or friends to him. He did not spend 3 minutes listening to any of my chief complaints. I ended up just asking him other than my shoulder what can I do for joint pain he replied,I can refer you to another Dr. I asked my him being an ortho what I can do for the other 75. % of
Ignored his emergency line Christmas morning. Gave us the run around for months. Tried to take an x-ray of a titanium plate... arrogant, refuses to listen to his patient.
After meeting with this doctor for the third time, I wanted to be accurate in my assessment before a rush to judgment! This physician was truly not concerned about my condition nor took the time to be responsive to my questions! As a fully insured paying patient, I will not pay nor accept this type of treatment! There are way too more caring physicians in the area!
From the start an uncomfortable situation. Within 2 minutes of meeting him he arrogantly asked me to seek a second opinion, all because I inquired further about my shoulder because he was being so short. He proceeded to show me my MRI while telling me all of his credentials and how he knows what he's talking about because he's done this for XX years. He diagnosed me with Subacromial Bursitis and I had to look it up on my phone because he didn't elaborate at all on it. No bedside manner.
