Superb resort and course
Had a very good experience playing Erin Hills. Our caddie Chris had an excellent attitude and knowledge about the course, which made a tough challenge even more worthwhile. Course was in great shape and the lay out is challenging, but fair. Hit bad shots? Pay the price. Hit good shots? Reap rewards. Must play once in your life, but over priced if not the home of a U.S. Open.
Played here as well as at Whistling Straits. Liked Erin Hills more! The staff was fantastic...but I had a very green caddie that really was only good for carrying the bag. Couldn’t read a green, couldn’t follow my ball and to be honest...was clueless. Make sure you chat with your caddie before you play and don’t be afraid to ask for a seasoned caddie. It did stain my experience.
Amazing course. Loved the atmosphere! Caddie was very helpful and loved the pace. Hands down the best public course Ive ever played when you consider the entire package. While it doesn’t have scenic views like Pebble...I actually thought the course itself was more beautiful and certainly more cerebral. Avid golfers...Don’t miss this one

This place is first class from the time you come in the gate- All the Staff was professional and very accommodating. The course itself is a great layout and manicured to perfection. The caddies we had were knowledgeable and a great resource for reading greens. I think we logged about 11 miles of walking for the round. Overall this was a great experience and I highly recommend if you get a chance to play it!! Thanks Mike Calcaterra
