Beautiful course but horrible for spectators. No shade, difficult to see any play unless you were in grandstands and difficult to walk unless you are in great shape. They would not allow you to be very close to greens or fairways like other majors I have been too.
Course looked like it was in great shape. It held up to the test. Designed for this one week, and not your average player, so hopefully the USGA comes back.
Erin Hills golf course is beautifully sculpted into the woodsy countryside, striking in its simplicity and clean lines. However it is not for the faint of heart or weakness of extremities. Expect lots and lots of walking!
Course and event venue were in fabulous shape. Sometimes you will see negativity of the course tour pro conditions, but this course held its own and made for a great Sunday finish!
