Dr. Bruce is amazing. I was looking at surgery w/long recovery for a shoulder issue without knowing what they would be doing. I sought Dr. Bruce as a 2nd opinion. He quickly identified it as an injury that could be easily addressed by a chiropractor. 1 month later I was no longer in pain and that was 3 years ago. I returned for a knee issue and he quickly diagnosed and treated me. So nice to have a dr. who listens to your concerns and doesn't put cutting/surgery as his first option!!!!
We would absolutely recommend Dr. Bruce to everyone we know! We met with three different surgeons and solicited many opinions from others before we even met with Dr. Bruce. As soon as we met him we knew he would be the one whom we trusted with our 15-yr old daughter’s ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. He has a great bedside manner, is completely honest, takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all your questions. We are blessed to have had a wonderful experience with him.
Dr. Bruce listens to your health complaint. Then he explains what can be done to alleviate your problem. If your need requires another type of specialist, he does not hesitate to make suggestions, As you can tell, I have been seeing Dr. Bruce off and on for many years because as I age new problems develop including injuries, etc. .
*His staff are very polite *I was seen quickly after checking in *Dr. Bruce treated me very well. He was kind, caring, he engaged with me and I didn't feel rushed Five stars!
I was referred to Dr. Bruce by a friend in the medical community after suffering a knee injury. An urgent care doctor had diagnosed a patella fracture after an X-ray and several friends and family encouraged me to see an orthopedist. I am so glad that I did as there was no fracture . Rather than keeping my leg straight and not moving it for 7-10 days (urgent care doctors orders), I began to immediately introduce gentle range of motion. 2 weeks later, I am back to 90% activities.
Dr. Bruce has treated me for some 3 months and I love his approach to treating me. I truly believe he cares about the whole patient and not just the piece he fixed. He asks about how the family is taking the news of my issues and listens when I speak about it. Truly wish we could clone Dr. Bruce and insert his bed-side manner and quality of care into every medical professional.
Without going into great detail, my wife and I would NOT recommend Dr. Erik Bruce to even our worse enemy. Very sad, we have never given a poor rating on any doctor or even any person or business.
I first went to Dr.Bruce to get a second opinion on a torn ACL and medial meniscus in my right knee. Upon first meeting the staff and then Dr.Bruce I pretty much knew this was the guy I wanted to go with, he was upbeat and you could tell he loved what he does. He then informed me that I was great candidate for the quad acl harvest (made famous by Dr.X) and that was exciting to hear, he would also be able to do a meniscus repair instead of the common meniscectomy.
