I had a horrible experience with Dr. Podolsky for a hiatal hernia repair. After the procedure and follow-up care was completed I was still left with a hernia and I developed new issues that required specialist care. Her team's communication and bedside manner were notably lacking, particularly the nurse practitioner assigned to my care. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Podolsky to anyone!!!
BEWARE.!! Highly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor. Save your time and most of all save your life.
I am extremely disappointed with the care my family received. My aunt underwent bariatric and hernia surgery, and the experience that followed was deeply distressing for all of us. We felt there were serious issues with communication, attentiveness, and overall post-operative care. My wife underwent gastric bypass surgery and a hernia repair performed by Dr. Erica Podolsky. Within a year, she had to undergo another hernia repair. From our experience, the complications that followed caused her severe and ongoing pain. Our family went through an incredibly difficult time dealing with the aftermath of these procedures. Post op Bariatric surgery patient.I am truly grateful surgery has changed my life. One of the hardest decisions for my health I have made. I am thankful for a wonderful experience from the beginning preop to post op discharge at dmc. The office staff and nurses were amazing!
