After suffering with severely degraded hip for a year, walked normally after Dr. Schiffman performed an anterior hip replacement. Two days after procedure was walking without assistance. Unbelievable recovery.
He replaced my hip 2yrs ago and I've had no problems with it since. I now have a lipoma on my leg and its giving me a fit and dir Shiffman to check it because I trust him to do the right procedure as needed.I sent my nephew and my daughter to him and they are happy with hom.
Dr. Schiffman, is not only an amazing surgeon he has a great bedside manner. He is friendly and speaks to you as a friend not a patient. He will advise you the best course of action and will work to get you in to see him asap
Dr. Schiffman is amazing! He is a very caring, pacient, and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend him in a blink of and eye and would go see him again if I had any problem. Do not hesitate to visit him.
I have been Dr. Schiffman’s patient since he began in this practice. As a surgeon, he is skilled and careful. As a person, he is empathetic and caring. Dr. Schiffman listens and is conservative in his treatments. My total knee replacement was a great success. I have recommended him to my friends who have also been happy under his care.

the last and final visit i rita budin had stitches removed from my right leg. the nurse that did this left a stitch inside my food. its weeks later it was bothering me, in my rehab they had to remove it. i saved it. shes was very unprofessioal to me, the knee replacement was excellent work .. he was great but not his nurse
I want to make clear that this negative review is NOT about Dr. Schiffman, since I never had a chance to meet him, but his medical staff instead. I reserved an appointment over the phone due to a (very painful) problem with both my knees and received a date and time to show up for the visit, not before providing all requested info about my health plan. I visited Dr. Schiffman because I already had a prior knee replacement with a different surgeon and had a bad outcome and had a lot of pain after the surgery. When I visted Dr. Schiffman he was so caring and compassionate and listened to all my concerns. He answered all my questions and spent a good amount of time with me. He could see the pain I was in and he tried everything to avoid new surgery. The outcome is after trying many none surgical options I have to have a total knee revision.
