I met Dr Yao the day of my surgery. He was so personable, friendly and eased my concerns about my broken elbow which need surgery to repair it. I appreciated his concern for me as I also had a broken rib and broken ligaments to my clavicle. I will recommend him to anyone needing an orthpedic surgeon.
In March 2014 I had a Total Knee Replacement. I was scared to death. Dr.yao assured me I would hate him the first month but after that it was down hill. I never hated h because I new I'd be in pain. After 5 and a half weeks I was so great full for having it done. Pain free. Needy right one done and am not going to wait 7 years. He's my hero.
Thorough, friendly, easily understood. He gave me confidence that his advice was correct.
The surgery went well and I am recovering rapidly. I've tried hard not to over do my rehabilitation and have followed Dr. Yao's instructions and those of my physical therapist and am progressing toward a full recovery. Hopefully I'll be back to golfing soon. I have truly appreciated the relationship with Dr. Yao and his staff and am so far pleased with the results of the surgery, which was not taken for granted, as several alternatives were considered before deciding on having the surgery.
I have recently had a ACL and clavicle (shoulder surgery) from Dr. Yao. Both experiences exceeded my expectation. Everyone on his staff, from top to bottom, have been fantastic to deal with. I have had surgeries before, from different orthopedic doctors. Great in their own right. I would choose Dr.Yao (and staff) over any other orthopedic doctor. Hands down. Hopefully, I will never need the services of a orthopedic doctor (at least for a while)... But if I do, It will be unquestionably Dr.Yao!
