I recently had my hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Levicoff. I stress enough how positive the experience has been right from the start several months ago through my post op phase. He is a genuine professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a terrific surgeon with a strong bed-side manner.
Dr. Levicoff truly is a wonderful surgeon. He gave me my life back after he did a hip revision. I had tremendous pain and could not walk or bear weight on that leg. After the revision, I am walking and hiking as I did previously. I will be forever grateful for his skillful care. He listens and spends as much time as needed. And his assistant Alison and Physician’s Assistant, Mary were also excellent. A wonderful team.
Outstanding surgeon and great care at Bryn Mawr Hospital after replacement surgery! 2 and a half months since surgery and am very pleased with the progress. After care has been great with Mary and staff, and had final visit with Dr Levicoff which was the last one needed! I will be scheduling my right knee replacement in the next year most definitely!
My total hip replacement experience could not have been better. Dr. Levicoff, his team and Bryn Mawr’s Surgery Center are a skilled and efficiently well oiled machine. I was up and walking immediately, climbing stairs the next day and was in very little pain thanks to the efforts of this team. Dr Levicoff is a kind, caring and talented surgeon. My hip replacement is perfect & my pain is gone. While I hope my L hip will never need replacing, if it does, I’ll be returning to Dr. Levicoff.

Dr Levicoff is not just a skilled surgeon, he is a kind, compassionate doctor who never rushes and spends whatever time is needed. He also is an excellent diagnostician. My husband and I have been seeing him for years. He replaced both knees for him and will be replacing his hip. He has helped me with my knees and he actually diagnosed that some of my knee pain was coming from my lower back…..and he was right! He doesn’t just jump into surgery, but studies all options to start with the easiest first. We trust him implicitly.
Dr Levicoff uses a team well. His nurse sees you for routine follow up visits and the doctor sees you for your final visit, unless there is a problem. The team is very accessible by phone between visits.
Dr Levicoff is personable, professional and proficient. He did a wonderful job on my knee replacement and answered my questions thoroughly. Highly reccomend!
