I underwent my first preventative screening colonoscopy with Eric Cottrill. Following the procedure, I experienced abdominal pain and chills. I have been seeing Dr. Cottrill for several years now. I have not had any issues with Dr. Cottrill himself, but, his help, oh yeah. The dark curly headed broad that "greets" you when you go in and answers the phone is something else. I do not like dealing with her AT ALL. C'mon, Dr. Cottrill, get rid of her. Check out all of the reviews about your staff!!! She interacts with your patients so she IS your staff to your patients. My mom has been seeing this doctor for life threatening weight loss, though she is currently very frail, he has no problem shutting her down when she dares ask one single question. The final blow was when he suggested, “We can do nothing if you’re going to question me.” WOW! Zero bedside manner or empathy.
I have had a very good experience under the care of Dr. Cottrill. I find him to be skilled, kind, and clear in his communication. I appreciate having him as a doctor.
