My mom has been seeing this doctor for life threatening weight loss, though she is currently very frail, he has no problem shutting her down when she dares ask one single question. The final blow was when he suggested, “We can do nothing if you’re going to question me.” WOW! Zero bedside manner or empathy.
I have had a very good experience under the care of Dr. Cottrill. I find him to be skilled, kind, and clear in his communication. I appreciate having him as a doctor.
Wish I could give zero stars. There is something very wrong w this physician. He can be sugar sweet then turn on a dime if you DARE to speak or ask a question of his almighty, ego-driven self. I’ve been seeing him w my parents for years & should have insisted they fire him years ago after he sent my father home only to be taken by ambulance within days for emergency surgery for a gangrenous ruptured gallbladder & sepsis. Dr. Cottrill is one of the best physicians I know. I have been a patient for years. I have always found him to be caring, informative, and knowledgeable. He takes his time and explains the condition. I would highly recommend Dr.Cottrill to anyone. Tulsa is fortunate to have him.
I haven’t had my procedure yet it is in 2 weeks but I have read all the reviews. I met the staff and Dr. Cottrill for the first time today. They were pleasant, kind and efficient. Not one rude staff member. Dr. Cottrill was direct and to the point. He understood my years of problems and is checking for himself what is going on in my stomach and colon.
