All my visits have been very pleasant and helpful to solving my knee problem. My first knee problem occurred in 2015 with surgery in Hendersonville, NC. That surgery was successful but my doctor seemed arrogant and not patient-friendly. So I delayed having surgery on the second knee because I felt that there was a better knee surgeon somewhere else. Dr. Janssen has provided excellent care so far for my ACL reconstruction. I have been well informed throughout the process. At this point in my recovery I have no complaints and look forward to a full recovery.
Dr. Janssen has been absolutely wonderful. He has kept me fully informed and connected me to a full battery of resources, equipment and expertise with therapist, that will assure my surgical success.
During my consultation with Dr. Janssen, he was very kind and had a great personality. He discussed with me in great detail what my issue was while we looked at my MRI. Dr. Janssen had been treating my shoulder pain/labral tear for about a year now and was very kind and considerate as well as extremely knowledgeable. We tried PT (shoutout to the amazing staff at Madison Sportsmed), steroid injections, and ended up with surgery but he was always hands on and conservative with the surgical option which I very much appreciated. Every time I have an appointment or even before surgery Dr. Janssen has been right there answering all my questions. Everyone I have met in his office has been friendly and very helpful.
Dr. Janssen did rotator cuff surgery on my husband, who is also a patient of his daughter, Dr. Kristina Donovan. The surgery went very well, and Dr. Janssen was on top of his care totally! He is a very caring doctor, and has a wonderful bedside manor. Would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Janssen! Not a doctor that just "keeps you coming back"; he wants his patients to be healthy and stay healthy!
My rehab has gone very well. Dr, Janssen and Chase Brown have been excellent.
