When I went to see Eric Gardner for a knee injury, I did not know that he was known by name across the state by other medical professionals because of his history of malpractice. I also had no idea that banner health is horrible and there's no reason not to go to UTHealth instead. Every time I have had to interact with banner and Eric Gardner there has been an issue. I had three surgeries with Dr. Gardner and two were not needed, per the doctor I got a second opinion from. He tried telling me I needed a total knee replacement at 16 years old. He was very unprofessional and when I went in to get papers for a second opinion we were told it was their third one they were giving out that day. I was not able to cheer again after my experience with him.
Dr Gardner is five stars. Dr Gardner was suggested to me by my clinic because of knee pain. I arrive with an MRI CD of which he reviewed prior to meeting me. I found him very personable and after a few tests he scoped my knee and repaired the damage. Yay everything is good. Now fast forward 2 years. 2 yrs Into covid. I decided to see him when I had hip issues. He ordered MRI . I am in pain where I cannot walk with a normal gate. We're talking I need pain meds or I'm in tears. Getting the MRI done I needed to follow up with D... read more
Terrible experience. He told me to deal with the level 8-9 pain I’ve been having and sent me on my way. I left in tears with zero hope.
