I am 62 and in good health but for some time been in extreme and constant pain in both hips and groin area. All of my daily routines walking, bending and exercising were impacted. I had severe osteoarthritis in my right hip. I could barely walk and had pain in my knee. thigh, and ankle. On June 16th of this year, Dr. Cohen performed an anterior total hip replacement at University Orthopedics at Kettle Point. I went home that same day, was walking with a cane the next day, and have had an uneventful and quick recovery. Besides being an incredibly skilled surgeon, he is kind and caring. He took the time to call me the night before the surgery and the day after as well.

My mom 74 years old needed hip replacement surgery and could barely walk. She also has memory issues which can be frightening needing this type of surgery. Since meeting Dr. Cohen I am confident he was the one I could trust to do the surgery. My has now had the hip replacement surgery and she was up walking the next day with walker, with physical therapy she transitioned to cane in two weeks and by one month was walking independently. DR. COHEN IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR HIS OUTSTANDING WORK!

Dr. Eric Cohen is a knowledgeable and extremely skilled surgeon. I had a total hip replacement 3 weeks ago. On the day prior to surgery( Sunday), I received a phone call from him to see how I was doing and to let me know that I would be well cared for the next day. That phone call spoke volumes about this physician's character, patient compassion and dedication. Dr. Cohen is top of the line in every aspect of his profession. My recovery has been incredible. Dr Cohen has been amazing every step of the way. From the decision to have the hip replacement up until today (day after surgery) made me feel extremely positive about this while situation. I'm only not even a full 24 hour post-op, and soreness is too be expected but that deep rooted pain is completely gone and i'm excited for what the future will bring! Kind, patient, willing to go out of his way. Inspires confidence but is not condescending. Willing to give the patient choices and options. Calls you back when he says he will. Follows through. Excellent. As a nurse, I am a very tough critic and he is very skilled and compassionate.

My knees are both so painful. I have put in for a disability check cause I am not able to sit stand or walk without real bad pain. These Dr. Cohen said you do not need disability you need to be fixed and pain free. Well, I had the operation on one of my knee my left one. He also had to pull my knee cap over to the left and realign it with my foot. This was done on the 27th of December. It is now 10 days later. I am in no pain at all.
