I would not purchase another home from Chafin. While they offer extras for the price such as coffer ceilings, their quality and attention to detail is awful. We've been living in our new home a little over a year. We have purchased many homes during our careers, but never have we experienced the dismissive, almost rude behavior of the sales team and agency managers with Chafin at Mundy Mill. After finding a plan and lot we were very pleased with, it took them a week to respond - and then only with a price that was different from our first visit. The sales girl quoted one price, only to have the written quote - which took us a week to get - was higher. Clearly she lied. Bought my home from Chafin in March 2018 in Sugar Hill, Ga. The Enclave at Hunters Creek. From the beginning Chafin's agent Jamee Newbegin was inexperienced and it showed through out the buying process. She was misleading intentionally and this was on numerous occasions. I will surely recommend this builder. The agents Karen, Vivian and Leslie were wonderful and are always there to answer questions.

Do not let Chafin plant front yard trees that will grow 30x30 in your 'city sized lot'. It will damage your foundation, sidewalk & driveway. They plant the cheapest tree available that meets county code to submit their CO. They do not care what happens to your home after they leave the neighborhood. Demand smaller trees before you close. They won't work with you.

Everything hit the fan when my heating/cooling unit went out. This was at least the second time it has stopped working with serious issues that I couldn't repair on my own. The front door appears to not have been hung level and it sticks. There are nail pops reappearing in the dining room on the walls and the ceiling. In the downstairs bedroom there are nail pops in the ceiling. In the living room you will find splitting trim along the coffer ceiling decor and nail pops. Our family started working with the onsite selling agent Chris at Stone Haven to compile a contract to build. During the process of drafting an offer to present to builder through the onsite agent, we were advise by Chris that it was standard for the builder to include window screens. Horrible realtor Julie handling Trilogy neighborhood. Builders not flexible at all!! Ready to purchase our dream home. Found out home was scheduled to have white cabinets. We had white cabinets for 22 yrs and they are out of date! I did not want same cabinets again. Asked her if we could get different ones. She said absolutely not!!
