Our home is only 4 and 1/2 years old and is completely rotting because of poor construction. Chafin representative, Craig told me that this was normal wear and tear. I wished I could post a photo because it is absolutely unbelievable. This company does not stand behind their homes.

Worst builder ever! Very poor construction. Not even a year and I've had so many issues. The must recent is humidity coming from the floors. They removed all materials but nothing can be done because it doesn't dry up. It started in late April and still waiting for it to be corrected. The floor company requested a dehumidifier a week ago and still waiting for the builder to provide it. Chafin is not doing much to resolve the problem. They are too "busy". This is THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a construction company. I’m truly disappointed in the terrible professionalism and irresponsibility of this company. My husband and I turned to Chafin Communities to purchase a home in Auburn Station. They asked us for a check for $ 3000 to reserve the lot where they were going to build our future home. Can I spill some tea? Yes? Ok. Let me tell you why I love Chafin Communities! The home they built me has me not wanting so leave. I’m proud to pull up in my beautiful neighborhood every time I do leave. And they keep sending gift baskets to my home. Had me in here in tears when I saw that beautiful basket come out of the box. BUYERS BEWARE!!! We know someone who is being taken advantage of by Chafin, this business is ruthlessly keeping their money when their income was reduced due to COVID and can’t close. They want to increase the purchase price by a ridiculously high amount and won’t give 100% back if not sold in a few months. Keeping their money hostage while they profit off them. Little guy against Big Corporation. RUN!

I cannot say enough about my home buying process. My realtor, Ward Buick was always prompt, knowledgeable answering all of our questions in a timely and professional manner. We are thrilled with the quality of the home we chose and the builder's willingness to accommodate our needs and wants. Our closing went very well with no surprises.

I wouldn't allow Chafin to build a doghouse for me. My daughter bought her first new home from them a little over a year ago. What a joke. Quality of workmanship is non-existent. Problems written up shortly after she moved in have still not been corrected. One year check problems are about halfway addressed with extremely poor workmanship. Probably safe to say my daughter will never buy another Chafin home. 2 thumbs down. I wouldn't even give them one star but that's as low as the ratings go. Buyer beware.

Could not ask for a better builder if you tried. They want the home buyer happy during and AFTER the closing.
