Ive recently moved into The Court building and love it so far! The apartment itself is a great layout with lots of appliances not to mention the smart home aspects for detecting leaks and any problems within my home just in case if i don't catch it! The team at equity residential, specifically working in the Tower building have been incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the move in process. In over 15+ years of renting - easily the worst property company I have ever been a part of. They nickel and dime you for everything, yet they don't actually upkeep the property. They charged "transfer" fee of $500 for moving 5 doors down the hall... And then still proceeded to charge a $700 paint and cleaning fee even when in the first place I know I paid a damage deposit. They took it out of my rent credit. This is easily the worst property management company I have ever been a part of. Thanks equity!!!
There's currently water leaking from the 3rd floor through our 2nd floor apartment and into the 1st floor apartment again. Less than 2 months ago we experienced this, and I'm aware this is at least the 3rd time in the last year. I've noticed issues with my health over the last month from the way the repairs were handled on the last occurrence, which I brought to the attention of the front office. At this point I believe maybe contacting appropriate state government agencies is in my best interest. Don't expect to park in you... read more
