These folks did an outstanding job. They are the first group to seek information from me prior to the review of my property. They actually secured a tax amount less than the amount I paid for the property! Now, that is outstanding work!!f

I have to give it this star to add a review. It's really a zero. Stay far away from these crooks. The company is a scam. Listen to me when I say you better hope the employee handling your case does any valuable work or you will be disappointed. Just try a reputable firm, research thoroughly to avoid the head ach of dealing with theses clowns. And if this so called President calls writes back here know it's the first time he reached out, not for the lack of my attempts!

This is unfortunate. We were engaged by Mr. ****** to file an assessment appeal on his property for tax year 2019. We did so. Due to the pandemic, the process was considerably slower that in past years. On November 9, 2020, we finally were scheduled to have a BOE hearing. We attended the hearing. We were successful in reducing the property's assessed FMV from $279,400 to $265,000. It had been $237,000 in 2018 and other years. We do not live in the Atlanta area, but that did not slow the process of negotiations with our local tax authorities. This was our second opportunity to use Equitax and each time we had excellent results.

What a pain free and stress free option vs. trying to be a "do-it-yourselfer" with this process. The company has great connections and access to the appraisers, and can present the appeal logically and effectively. In previous years, I have had to do the appeals twice by myself, and felt I was not taken very seriously. My only participation involved helping with some nearby comparable value homes, and a host of pictures of my home and property that better exhibited why may home was over-valued.
