Not much better than LA fitness
I’m an all-access Equinox member, so I was pretty shocked to be charged $45 for a day pass just to use the Century City location. I’ve been to plenty of Equinox gyms around the country, and honestly, this one didn’t stand out in any meaningful way to justify the extra cost. The facilities were fine—but no better than other locations that don’t charge a premium. - The gym itself is not luxurious at all ( it’s planet fitness class level + service level but 300$+/month) while planet fitness is 10$/month - Employees trained to bow for influencers, ignore everyone else. Everyone receives different prices and treatment based on how important they are and what their jobs are. For example, they charge the doctors more money. - it’s not a gym to lose weight. Terrible customer service. Employees look depressed working there.
There are about five equinox locations within 15 minutes of me, and this one is my favorite. Definitely on the newer side and a nice aesthetic. Also has a lot of good looking people which doesn't hurt! The yoga room and outdoor grassy area is also a nice touch. I always sit outside after a workout with a nice cold eucalyptus towel. Lately, I've been doing weekly personal training sessions with JT and he's been great. I definitely get a better workout with him than on my own.
