Took my 7 year old mare in for a severe impaction and they got her in, examined ,IV fluids within 10 minutes of us getting there. VERY willing to help keep costs as low as possible! Kind, informative vets who genuinely care about their patients!!

My usual vet was out of town at a conference during an emergency and recommended Equine Specialty Hospital. Dr. McClellan was great with my gelding that had a deep laceration to his pastern. Nate and his team got to work immediately and efficiently and my gelding is doing wonderful! He took the time to explain the situation, options, and what to expect. Highly recommended! I know my animals are in good hands with them.
I highly recommend Dr. Melissa Milligan and the staff at Equine Specialty Hospital! They are kind, friendly and experts when it comes to equine emergencies. My horse had emergency colic surgery and they took excellent care of him, and me while I was falling apart with worry. They kept me updated throughout the surgery and welcomed me to visit every day while he recovered in the hospital. In addition to visiting, Dr. Milligan called me each day with a progress report. Saved my foals life and found her a great nurse mare!
I realized I never gave a review. My horse had squamous cell carcinoma, he had to have his eye removed. I was a nervous wreck. My boy was a rescue, he was very skeptical about barns and the stall was almost always out of the question at the time. They allowed me to bring my mare as my gelding followed her everywhere. It worked like a charm, he followed her right in the barn and in the stall. They let me stall her so my Belgian would be calm, they are great, respectable people and gave the absolute best care!
