They did a Call Manager install for our company and I spent the first 3 months clean up there fuck ups. The configuration was right out of call manager 101 . No MTP or trust was defined on the gateway. The router patterns were very basic as 9.1@. No description on any thing such as CSS, partition route groups. Didn't do a bug scrub so we had to upgrade the Unity connections so we could get the voice mail to e-mail in outlook. Used IPC 8-6-0 when 8-6-3 was already released. Over lapping SIP trunk profiles so it made it hard to trouble shoot when the trunk went down. Put UCCX transfer point in the Unity connection server so if we would have lost the Unity so goes the UCCX. Put in two 2921 ISR voice gateways but only run the T1 to one router. No as-built or Viso drawing and the user guides for the phones were cut and paste from the Cisco we site. Just because you watch a couple of Cisco CCNP Voice video from Cisco press doesn't make you a voice engineer.
