This placed sold me a dirty used CPAP machine when I was eligible for a new one. When I confronted them they said it's considered new since it has been used for less than 1000 hours. Total BS. They also charged my insurance for supplies I never received.

I stopped in without an appointment on a Thursday morning (“walk-in morning”). I rang the bell in the waiting area and Elizabeth came right out and told me she was with another client but would be with me soon. I waited at most 5 minutes and then was assisted by Elizabeth. She was very courteous and personable. She answered the 2 questions I had about my CPAP equipment. I then expressed interest in buying a cleaning machine. Deceptive billing practices. They told me there would be NO monthly copay, only to charge me $400 over the course of 10 months. They failed to mention that Epoch is a "Tier 1" with my insurer, however they bill their durable medical equipment through Coastal Sleep Center (which they own), which is a "Tier 2," resulting in a $40 a month charge. Healthcare is rampant with contract deals like this that cost the consumer, and it needs to stop. I should know, I'm a registered nurse.
