Was seen for strange color changing spot on my leg, was seen by NP and they said its nothing. Didn't even offer to remove it said it was fine. Feeling that this didn't look right I went to another dermatologist and they biopsied it and it was Melanoma. My son also went here, and he was told his concerns was fine it's just a skin tag, he went to another doctor, and they are now sending it out for looking suspicious.
My PCP's office faxed them a referral five times over the course of 6 weeks- FIVE TIMES- and they still said they never received it. Verified the correct fax number. Watched the front desk assistant, in person, fax it twice. Nope. Lost in wormhole. Didn't even offer to contact my PCP to straighten it out. After the fifth try, I called Omni Dermatology the next day, requested a referral, and got an appt. all in less than 3 hours. Health care shouldn't be this hard.
