If you are referred to epic orthopedic, I highly suggest you go to Shasta orthopedic instead. My son broke his hand. We went to the emergency room and they referred us to epic orthopedic. We did not hear a thing from them for two weeks. I called daily for the first week. Finally, I went to our doctor and got a referral to Shasta instead. Shasta Ortho got back to us within 24 hours and had a cast on my son‘s hand. Saw Dr. Paul. Have a lower horn torn meniscus and OA as well as bone spurring right knee. My right knee has been twice the size since September 20th 2024 when I injured right knee torn meniscus at SFO running to a gate Today it is April 14th 2025 and right knee still twice the size . I was told as a 50 year old woman its just age and life. Then he looked at my chart and said oh 55! Nice office, organized staff, and clean. My doctor had an emergency so I waited quite a while. Another doc came.in and helped me. DR. Aaron.... nice guy. As the ER refers and says within 3-5 days be seen as a follow up....its not realistic. The office does have a 72 hr not including weekends policy just to return a the call to discuss receiving an appointment. Policy. However, as long as thier kind and respectful, its worth the wait. I like this practice.
In September I broke both legs, a vertebrae in my back, and my right arm and elbow. I’ve had to have several surgeries which went well with Dr. Herring. Dr. Herring moved out of state and I’ve begun having a lot more pain 24/7. I called in for an appointment for a new x-ray per my physical therapists recommendation (she’s worried my bones are not healing correctly) and was told because Dr. Herring moved they’ll have to see if they can get me in with a different surgeon.
