The reception team must be over worked, under paid, and stressed beyond reason because they are the rudest crew at the front of a medical office that I have ever experienced. And unfortunately I have spent a lot of time at doctors offices. Sure, the actual care you receive here is at least standard. Hopefully those people at the front desk take a long, hard look at themselves and the work they chose to do because I think they all would be happier, and maybe better in different jobs.
If you are referred to epic orthopedic, I highly suggest you go to Shasta orthopedic instead. My son broke his hand. We went to the emergency room and they referred us to epic orthopedic. We did not hear a thing from them for two weeks. I called daily for the first week. Finally, I went to our doctor and got a referral to Shasta instead. Shasta Ortho got back to us within 24 hours and had a cast on my son‘s hand. Saw Dr. Paul. Have a lower horn torn meniscus and OA as well as bone spurring right knee. My right knee has been twice the size since September 20th 2024 when I injured right knee torn meniscus at SFO running to a gate Today it is April 14th 2025 and right knee still twice the size . I was told as a 50 year old woman its just age and life. Then he looked at my chart and said oh 55!
