I had a deeply disappointing experience with massage therapist Jody. Upon learning that I am a cancer patient currently undergoing chemotherapy, she immediately told me she was not comfortable working with me. She made several inaccurate and uninformed statements, including saying she “needed to wear gloves” (unnecessary as I am seven days post‑infusion) and that massage could “move the chemo around my body,” which is medically untrue.
